Al Jarreau's unique vocal style is one of the world's most precious treasures. His innovative musical expressions have made him one of the most exciting and critically-acclaimed performers of our time. He has won seven Grammy Awards, and is only the second singer in history (Michael Jackson being the first) to win them in three genres: R&B, Pop, and Jazz. Al Jarreau is as stylistically diverse as he is distinguished, which is evidenced in his latest album The Very Best Of Al Jarreau: An Excellent Adventure, where he brings the breadth of his catalogue suitably – if not definitively – into focus.
