New Work by Sibyl Kempson and Mike Iveson, Jr.
    with Ilan Bachrach

Co-presented by the magnificently fantastic RUDE MECHANICALS

    FROM THE FUSEBOX ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:

Three of my favorite performers return to Austin for a sneak peak of their latest endeavor. Many of you may remember Sibyl Kempson and Mike Iveson from their show Crime or Emergency which played Fusebox 2009--easily one of the most interesting/hilarious pieces of the year. Ilan Bachrach, for his part, performed in Fusebox last year in LA Party at Ballet Austin.

This new collaboration collides video, Brahms lieder, and a new translation of Knut Hamsun's play Ved Rigets Port: Forspil, translated by Sibyl. It's an exciting experiment of sorts, the kind you want to encourage and help foster--fierce, brilliant artists exploring interesting, fun terrain. Hope you can make it out.
