Joanna Newsom's Appalachian-meets-avant-garde take on folk music generally falls under the new “indie-folk” label if you read many music blogs. Needless to say, if you know Joanna Newsom’s music, you don’t need to categorize it. If you don’t, well then you won’t want to miss out on this show. The classically trained harpist and other-worldly singer has a decidedly different, textural sound that’s impossible to describe, and impossible to forget. Her third album, a 3-CD release entitled Have One On Me, was released earlier this year to rave reviews
