Opening reception on Saturday, January 8th from 6 to 8pm
On Saturday, January 8th, Wally Workman Gallery opens their 4th solo show with artist Angie Renfro. From deserted silos to still streets, Renfro's oil paintings are unassumingly captivating. The tension between the under-painting and the structure of the surface creates a dynamic quality within the quiet scenes she chooses to portray. Her industrial landscapes remind us that even the most mundane places have a depth to be discovered.
A native Texan, Renfro attended art school in San Francisco and received her BFA in 2002. She has been featured in numerous national publications, including Southwest Art and American Art Collector.
