Join us for a conversation with three area psychotherapists regarding the disordered collecting that is hoarding. Topics include various conscious and unconscious motives for hoarding like traumatic loss, memorializing, a compulsion to acquire and isolation. Panelists are Gemma Marangoni Ainslie, Mary Holman and Naomi Freireich.
The discussion corresponds to Virginia Yount's solo exhibition, "Unsustainable Attainment", on view at Women and Their Work until November 12, 2010.
