Expand your artistic tool kit with a solid understanding of color—what it is and how it works. Hands-on experiments, along with lectures and discussions, will explore topics including: the science of color and color perception; the various color systems and how to use them to achieve your artistic goals; how tomix the colors you want in paint and digital media; pigments - their history, sources, and visual properties; and the optical interaction of colors in compositions. This course is appropriate for all artists regardless of experience or educational background.
