Romare Bearden was one of the best painters and collage artists of the 30s and 40s. He could be thought of as the Matisse of the Harlem Renaissance. Learn his amazing way of expressing “reality” by using photographs and other images, painted papers and paint. This class is in conjunction with the exhibit of Romare Bearden’s work at AMOA downtown.
