Create visual, beautiful and tactile paintings through the luscious medium of oil painting. This class will provide theoretical and practical guidance specifically tailored to the personal interests of each student, from the earliest techniques in the middle ages to the most recent contemporary developments. Learn about: transparency, opacity, color, value, shape and form, lines, edges, brushwork, surface and paint texture, mediums and composition. Compelling self-expression and mastery over the medium are our ultimate goals. From absolute beginners to advanced, all levels of students are welcome to join. Repeat the class to broaden knowledge and deepen understanding. Student must be 18 yrs old and up.
Class held in 8E. Limit 12 students.
