In this class, students will explore the fascinating world of Art Cloth. We will start with white cloth and work through many techniques to turn this cloth into layers of color and print. Silk screens, discharging agents, stamps, stencils, found objects, crayons, and gelatin may be used. Dye will be the first layer and from there it is a journey. By the end of class, you will be able to create your own signature cloth. This is the perfect class for beginners, for those that want to expand their knowledge or just play! Student must be 18 yrs old and up.
