Arthur Miller’s classic tale of the American theatre. When teenage girls are discovered conjuring spirits, the 17th century town of Salem explodes with accusations of witchcraft. The trials that follow expose a community paralyzed by fear, terror, power and religious extremism. Riveting dialogue, passionate characters and powerful themes make this both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our society. Starring Iden Payne winners Rachel McGinnis and Angela Loftus. With Gabriel Smith, Craig Kanne, Laura Ray and Brian Villalobos as John Proctor. Directed by Stacey Glazer. The City Theatre, 3823 Airport Blvd. Suite D. – east corner of Airport Blvd. and 38 ½ Street.

I thought the play was wonderful and the actors were all great, the only thing it needed was a larger stage but it still played very well.
