Choreographer Lorn MacDougal and Filmmaker/Composer Alain Le Razer present ALL THINGS ANIMATE, 4 shows of dances and films, at the Dougherty Theatre, 1110 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX.

Movement is the primary language in high energy dances on stage and large scale projections of music/motion videos and film animation. In keeping with Austin's passion for live music, Alain Le Razer plays guitars, sings and whistles to his original scores created for Lorn MacDougal's choreography - all the while dancing with a cast of top Austin dancers.

Lorn & Alain, working collaboratively since the eighties, have defined and refined their approach to both film and dance theater, stirring away from the anecdote to surprise through layered possibilities. Images are saturated with color, motion is a constant, and on both screen and stage music drives the action.

“..the verve and zaniness, the sense of pacing and play make it a lot of fun.”

Susanna Sloat, ATTITUDE: The Dancers’ Magazine (NYC)
