    Mosaico Magnífico??

    Saturdays,10am - 1pm

    Always wanted to work with mosaics? Now is your chance! Learn the basic skills in mosaics from the talented Patricia Greene. This class will provide an overview of traditional design, line, shape, color and size. Practice tile breaking and cutting, tool use, adhesives, and grouting. Using Mexican tile techniques, begin with a small photo frame and then design a mosaic piece for your home and garden. Basic materials will be provided. 

    All skill levels are welcome!

    Papel Picado Fashion??

    Wednesdays, 6pm - 8pm

    September 7 - October 26
    $120/8 week session

      

    This course is devoted to creating a one-of-a-kind garment. During these sessions, you will plan your project and sew a Mexican garment influenced by Papel Picado. Instructor Lucia Chavez will guide students in combining the traditional techniques of this craft with fashion. 

    Intermediate sewing skills are recommended to benefit from this exciting course.

    Watercolor Workshop??

    Saturdays, 11 am - 1 pm

    August 6 - 27
    Cost $60

      
    Take advantage of an opportunity to begin or enhance your painting skills as you learn fundamentals and techniques from renowned artist, Fidencio Duran. Activities will use Flat and Round brushes and include Brush Skill Exercises in this 4 session workshop. All skill levels are welcome!

    Session 1: Flat Wash, graded Flat Wash 

    Session 2: Wet in Wet, Dry Brush 
    Session 3: Use techniques to paint a still life, portrait 
    Session 4: Use techniques to paint landscapes, abstractions

          David Russell's wonderful gentle, full sound was on display. He fully suits the music, however. Sometimes his sound was more abrupt, almost harsh, reminiscent of a harpsichord. Other times he managed... Expand
