The Princess & The Pea
September 17-October 31, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Based on the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen, Scottish Rite Children's Theatre presents a new adaptation. Her Highness the Queen insists her son, Prince Thomas, marry a real princess who above all else, must be Responsible, Smart and Sensitive – never mind if he actually likes her! Yet, the Super-hero loving Prince has plans of his own and with the help of Darla, the Royal Cat, sets things in motion to live happily ever after – his way!
This humorous adaptation written by D. H. Thompson and directed by Andrea Smith highlights the value of honesty and is perfect for ages 3-10. The Weekday shows are great for school groups, care centers and home schoolers.
