Tommy Emmanuel is best known for his complex fingerpicking style and energetic performances that bring a sense of jazz improvisation into a mix that includes blues, country, rock, classical and Spanish music. Four-time winner of Australia's Best Guitarist award, he has toured and worked with Sir George Martin, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Chet Atkins, Larry Carlton, Dave Koz, Joe Walsh, Roberta Flack, The Chieftains and many more. "One hesitates to refer to Tommy Emmanuel simply as a guitar player, because he is unquestionably one of the most gifted artists of our time." Acoustic Guitar Magazine.
