Art created in neon, of neon, about neon lights up Austin for our Grand Opening exhibit. A dozen local and national artists whose work glows show off contemporary neon, vintage-look neon, neon mixed-media, original paintings and fine art photographs that capture the color and contrasts of neon.

Art Talks: Saturdays, September 18 & 25 at 2 pm

      The Neon sculptures in the Grand Opening Exhibit for Austin Details Art + Photo truly give this new gallery a healthy glow. From the moment you step in you are greeted with a Big Tex kind of "Howdy" by a beautiful 3-D Texas shaped sculpture back lit with yellow neon lights. A few more steps into the gallery and you will find adorable clay sculptures of funky dinners, gorgeous shots of some of Austin most famous neon signs, a wide selection of unique neon lamp sculptures and wall hangings. Don't expect to find any lava lamps here. What you should expect to find are some really beautiful pieces of art that any Austinite would be proud to hang in their home or office. So, if you find yourself downtown go where the neon lights shine brightest, at Austin Details Art + Photo. Collapse

      I'm very excited for Austin Details to be open as an exciting new gallery space for downtown Austin. Their grand opening exhibit, The Neon Show, is a perfect way to kick things off. The show is gorgeous, intriguing, and unexpected. When I generally think Neon...I don't think Art. Austin Details has proven me wrong! Enjoyed the opening and look forward to stopping by again to check out the pieces at least a few more times! Collapse
