Eris 2035: P-Graph's New Improvised Play
August 20-October 8, 2010

Parallelogramophonograph presents Eris 2035, the latest in its series of original improvised plays. Inspired by films such as 2001, Moon, and Solaris, Eris 2035 explores the effects the desolation and stillness of deep space have on the human psyche. Quiet madness and slow-burning tension underscore this improvised production, reminiscent of classic science fiction of the 60's and 70's.
Previous PGraph shows--French Farce, Some Like it Improvised, Dick & Jane--looked to the past for their inspiration. With Eris 2035, the members of PGraph gaze into an era not yet seen to stretch the limits of their improvisational storytelling,
Nothing we discover in space will be as unsettling as what lies in the depths of the human mind. Watch the four members of PGraph unravel in each week's completely original science fiction story.
Parallelogramophonograph has been developing innovative improvisational shows since its founding in 2005. It was the recipient the first B. Iden Payne award dedicated to Outstanding Achievement in Improvisational Theatre, and was given the Best Improv Troupe award by The Austin Improv Collective. PGraph has taught and performed in over a dozen cities across the continent, including appearances at the Chicago Improv Festival, Hawaii's Improvaganza, The Seattle Festival of Improvisational Theatre, and Toronto's CombustionFest.
