The Austin Civic Orchestra and the Austin Symphonic Band present a joint concert of classical music. ACO will perform pieces by Verdi, Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky. Jessica Mathaes, voilin, will be the guest soloist. ASB will present the Austin premier of the Suite from the Bernstein Mass for Brass Quintet and Concert Band. Maestro Peter Bay, Music Director of the Austin Symphony, will guest conduct a selection with each group.
