Since winning the 1998 Gold Medal of the prestigious International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Judith Ingolfsson has established herself world-wide as an artist of uncompromising musical maturity, extraordinary technical command and charismatic performance style.
Ms. Ingolfsson returns to the Austin Symphony stage to perform Robert Schumann’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Minor. Maestro Bay has also included “Vyšrehrad” from Bed?ich Smetana’s symphonic poem set, Má vlast (My Country) as well as Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique. Schumann’s Violin Concerto will be performed in honor of his bicentennial.

I don't go to classical shows often, but I had a great time. The musicians were extremely talented and the pieces they played were wonderful.
