rLocal designers transform recycled materials into wearable works of art! Inspired by Chris Jordan's photographs about consumption and environmental issues. Keep Austin Beautiful, who has been inspiring environmental stewardship for 25 years in our community, provided Austin designers with recycled materials. In the spirit of fashion design programs like Project Runway, come see how the designers transformed plastic bags, innertubes, computer cables, vinyl banners and more!

      After seeing and loving the Chris Jordan exhibit, I was highly anticipating the fashion show that was going to be inspired by his exhibit! And I was not disappointed. We have such talented talented... Expand

      After seeing and loving the Chris Jordan exhibit, I was highly anticipating the fashion show that was going to be inspired by his exhibit! And I was not disappointed. We have such talented talented designers here in Austin. The show was fantastic! The only critisim I would have is that for future shows, there should be more of a script for the host. Otherwise it was so well worth it!!! Brava AMoA and Keep Austin Beautiful! Collapse
