July 3, 2010
Add Review/Comment
This is a special evening and backstage pass to experience up close and personal the work "De La Luna" - choreographed by Blue Lapis Light with artistic director Sally Jacques and performed by Nicole Whiteside, Jason Brown, Julie Holcombe and Maya Theresa Kaough. Early performance by "Austin Chronicle's best Horn Player" musician Ephraim Owens and his four piece band. Ephraim has gained international exposure for solo ensemble and composition and is one of the hottest horn players in town. And don't think we don't have you covered with something to entice your culinary palette - enjoy catering by Max's Wine Dive, Spirits by Paula's Texas Spirits and Tito's Vodka, Stella Artois and desserts by Austin Cake Ball. This is a release party you don't want to miss!
You'll also enjoy the DJ sound set from Aaron Montez (aka kid Gorilla) of Starhaus Studio. And to keep us all hydrated - special thanks to Whole Foods Market for bottled water! Our charitable contributions for this event will benefit Austin Lyric Opera and Austin Shakespeare. Special thanks always to Marquee Event Group for creating a unique environment for us all to enjoy!
