Foleyvision is taking Flash Gordon’s Trip to Mars (1938) and adding live voice actors, live sound effects, and live music to create a one-of-a-kind show, as a part of the Foleyvision: Live Efx, Dialogue and Music! Signature Series. Flash Gordon’s Trip to Mars is about three friends, Flash, Dale, and Zarkov saving planet Earth from the evil Emperor Ming of planet Mongo. Ming has a deadly weapon on Mars that is stealing nitron from the Earth’s atmosphere. Flash, Dale, and Zarkov must find a way to destroy Ming’s deadly ray. In celebration of The Intergalactic Nemesis: Live Action Graphic Novel tickets going on sale July 1st at the Long Center, a 10-minute performance of The Intergalactic Nemesis: Episode Five will take place before the Foleyvision: Flash Gordon’s Trip to Mars.
