Photographs by Diego Huerta taken during January through June 2008. Fénix commemorates the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the firefighters in the state of Nuevo León. Fénix is an international exhibit that opened in Monterrey, Nuevo León and traveled to the New York City Fire Museum in September 2009.
About 15 years ago, Huerta jumped into the creative realm by collaborating with graphic designers, documentary photographers and creative directors in advertising agencies. Creating conceptual artwork through photography he found his passion capturing images of people in their environment and immersing himself in fine art.
