Come a enjoy Esquina’s magical tango nights! Evening includes tango class (9pm) and lots of social dancing and socializing with wonderful Live Music by "The Austin Piazzolla Quintet".
No partner needed, come with a friend or to make new ones! Snacks provided, bring your own beverage.
The Austin Piazzolla Quintet is an Austin based tango quintet specializing in the music of renowned Argentine ango composer, Astor Piazzolla. The Quintet was founded in 2009 and includes accordionist Mike Maddux, violinist James Anderson, pianist Jonathan Geer, guitarist Adam Carney, and bassist Christina Underwood. A unique and influential composer, Astor Piazzolla boldy blends elements of classical music and jazz with his native tango - creating a fantastic sound full of melody, passion, and heart-ache.
