      A poignant insight into what a loved one might go through when their spouse is abducted. Although written in 1988, the story is every bit as timely today. Stellar performance by Val Frazee, conveying the intense emotions a woman might go through, not knowing if her husband is alive or dead for years. Scot Friedman plays the husband abductee in a very convincing manner. Allison Wood does a fine job as the stoic State Department liaison, caught between political necessity and compassion for a poor wife that might not ever see her husband again. Also acting was Tony Salinas as the reporter who wants to write the story of the unlucky couple's plight. He well conveys the tension between empathy and career opportunity. I highly recommend this play and hope I can see it once more while it is running. Collapse
