Watching films with your young ones opens the door to discussions about life and the world at large. Family Movie Night at the Austin Public Library is free and open to the public. So what are you waiting for? Bring the whole family, kick back, and enjoy!

June 15 Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (G, 75 min.)
When Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out across the sea on a secret quest to set things right. With some help from her friend Terence -- and a charming, rascally firefly named Blaze -- Tink braves an astonishing new world and discovers the greatest treasure of all.

July 20 The Princess and the Frog (G, 98 min.)
Don’t miss this animated comedy set in the great city of New Orleans featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.

August 17 Alice in Wonderland (PG, 108 min.)
Tim Burton brings his unique take on the classic Lewis Carroll story about a girl named Alice to the big screen. Alice falls down a rabbit-hole into a fantasy realm populated by talking playing cards, the raging Red Queen and a stark raving Mad Hatter.

    September 21 Planet 51 (PG, 91 min.)
American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of a cheerfully innocent 1950s America, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders—like Chuck!
