Austin women can treat themselves to two hours a week away from it all, put pen to paper and ponder their lives in the four-week series, Writing Your Life as a Woman led by local writer and publicist Dean Lofton.
Writing Your Life as a Woman offers gentle motivation and inspiration in a non-academic, creative setting - where accepting compliments is required, and spelling doesn't matter. Taught in the style of journal writing workshops, in-class writing exercises are shared out loud - leading women to open up to their stories and voice. Writers of all levels of experience benefit from the workshop, as well as non-writers, yet no writing experience is necessary.
