Open your eyes and ears to a half-dozen choreographers who have created dance to the same pieces of music. Experience the extreme differences in each while sharing a common song as three Austin composers hand over their music to six choreographers. This showcase will bring to life elaborate storytelling through movement and imagery.

Composer 1: Adam Sultan- Choreographers: Meredith Cook, Shawn Nasralla

Composer 2: Graham Reynolds- Choreographers: Kendra Slack, Cristina Jesurun (NYC)

Composer 3: Amalia Litsa/Aaron Dugan- Choreographers: Amanda Jackson, Katherine Hodges

Big Range Mission: Big Range Austin is a dance festival which strives to present quality contemporary dance that explores diverse concepts within the movement arts. We encourage experimentation from choreographers to stretch their own ideas of dance, collaboration, and performance excellence. We seek to engage the audience through fresh new ideas that are challenging and fun, with a strong emphasis on community building through each individual voice.
