Free market veggie bags to the first 200 shoppers, a chef's demo, prize giveaways, kid's activities, live music, and farmers' product tastings are all part of the summer launch at the Sunset Valley location.
Sunset Valley council members, staff and members of the SFC board of directors will be present to shovel in the last bit of gravel and christen the path with farmers' rain water.
The SFC Farmers' Markets combined-Downtown, Sunset Valley and The Triangle, are projected to host upwards of 7,000 customers weekly during the height of the summer season. The markets are free and open to the public. Free parking is available at all three sites. The SFC Farmers' Market accepts the SNAP cards, Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) coupons, and has a market ATM for debit cards
