      Being a former percussionist's band-mom for 7 years, I thought I knew what to expect from Drumline Live. Was I wrong! This is the most high-energy musical show I've seen. The members of the band, musicians and dancers/singers, are all top-notch performers. The show starts out with music from Africa with the group in traditional costume, the drummers in the aisles and the dancers leaping onto the stage. Throughout the show they cover many styles of music from Soul, Michael Jackson, Gospel, Big Band and finally to what you came to see - the halftime/marching band/drum battle. Within each genre, the costumes change, the dancers/singers portray different characters (Tina Turner, James Brown, etc.) and the stage set-up changes from risers to beat boxes...don't miss the Midnight Magic - snares with neon stick-figures. These musicians have talent - and then some - they play their various instruments, they sing, dance, interact with the audience, and leave you wanting more, more, more! Collapse
