A Scavenger Hunt and Safari of Western Experience brought to you by the Rude Mechs’ Thomas Graves and Kirk Lynn.

The West is within us all. Every human has a desert in his or her heart. Who will map and document this terrain? The Rude Mechs have spent several years in an effort to understand the interior wilderness of the West using the medium of the American Musical. The results will be presented in the Fall of 2010 under the title I’VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY. But what about your own borders and timelines?

QUEST FOR THE WEST is an attempt to take our research into your life. Throughout the festival a series of questions, quizzes and quests will be presented. Those brave enough to attempt these challenges will be rewarded ridiculously.

Write a Country and Western ballad. Out draw your enemy in a crowded saloon. Catch a mountain lion by the tail.

Join us on Saturday the 24th at 10AM for a special quest to launch this scavenger adventure, then check the Fusebox website to download daily tasks, upload proof of completion, and our simply take a gander to track the folly of yer fellows.
