Five x Seven features more than 1,000 5-inch by 7-inch original works of art generously donated by over 900 emerging and established artists with strong ties to Arthouse or Texas. Some of the participating artists include Sterling Allen (Austin), Faith Gay (Austin), Fritz Haeg (Los Angeles), Annette Lawrence (Denton), Jessica Mallios (Austin), Katrina Moorhead (Houston), Robyn O’Neil (Houston), Dario Robleto (Houston), Allison V. Smith (Dallas), and Terri Thornton (Fort Worth). A full list of participating artists may be found at www.arthousetexas.org.
Unlike traditional exhibitions and art sales where purchasers know who created the work they’re buying, the 5x7’s will be displayed anonymously for viewing. Buyers will discover the creators of the works only after the pieces have been purchased.
