What happens when two cops stop loving their jobs… and start living it? This emotionally riveting and unsparing film exposes the plight of two narcotics officers who cross the line and become embedded in the dangerous but intoxicating underbelly of the drug world. Rush (1991) stars Jason Patric, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Gregg Allman, and Sam Elliot, and was filmed in Houston.

Presented in partnership with The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum and sponsored by the Texas Film Commission, the MADE IN TEXAS FILM SERIES features a program of movies filmed in Texas. All movies are screened at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of each month from March - September at the Texas Spirit Theater. Special guests including cast and crew attend with each film.
