In his new play "Toxic Assets," Steven Tomlinson  searches for the origins of the financial crisis in the psyche of an economics professor who becomes obsessed with cleaning up litter. His compulsion complicates his work as an economist and his relationships with family, friends and neighbors.

Tomlinson and director Christina J. Moore are mounting a workshop production of "Toxic Assets" at the Off Center next month. This
monologue version will be staged as a benefit with all proceeds from the three performances March 11-13 going to Fusebox Festival.
