The purpose of the festival is to promote some of the best independent and unsigned Austin and regional alternative rock acts during the week when the entire music industry has its full attention on Austin.
The 5 day event has grown to now (2010) include hundreds of performers playing 30 minute sets at four downtown (and outdoor) locations: Spill, Malaia, Treasure Island, and a couple of outdoor stages at 7th and Neches. The best part? No cover and no wristbands.
