Sometimes, the same love that makes you laugh, makes you cry.
"I once had a date with a sprightly young lass. After a night of dancing and excessive drinking we fumbled around back at her place. Literally. Eight long hours, six stitches, and two thousand dollars later, I could not help but think, it's not love that hurts, but rather the desperate avoidance of loneliness. I learned a valuable lesson that night, and since then I periodically consider wearing a helmet when going on a date. And, of course, a jimmy hat too."
