In this extremely powerful book, Dow takes us through a trial and execution of someone on death row, showcasing the emotional toll on all involved, especially the overworked legal aid lawyers trying to save desperate clients. No matter which side you fall on the death penalty debate, this book will have you stand up and take notice.
