BookPeople loves bicycles! A good portion of our staff rides to and
from work on their trusted bikes, and we will always support their
initiative to help keep the earth healthy. We’re excited to host Jeff Mapes
here, author of Pedaling Revolution. In it, Mapes chronicles the change
from bicycling as a fun leisure activity to the main mode of transportation
for so many people in urban areas. Looking at the political, safety, health
and environmental factors in this shift, Pedaling Revolution is an important
event for both bikers and drivers alike.
