Austin singer, actress, musical comedienne, Iden Payne winner and Austin original (we like to think so) Michelle Cheney is back on stage for the encore performance of her hit cabaret show. Accompanied by Kevin Oliver, Michelle spends a wildly entertaining evening of living, loving and laughing looking at growing up in conservative Utah, encounters in the Lone Star State, thoughts on men and the revealing secret life of the married woman. One of the hardest working local musical performers, she has appeared in shows all over town including The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Nunsense, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Her comedic, yet heart-warming show features music from some of Broadway’s greatest composers with special material and staging by Austin Cabaret’s Stuart Moulton.

The SRO February engagement was the most fun I had at a live theater event this year. Sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, and always entertaining. Highly recommended.

Michelle is thoroughly entertaining. A very fun and funny evening. I will go again and take my friends who couldn't get in to the sold out show. Loved it!
