The Bitter Poet performs his darkly humorous, satirical guitar-driven poems about searching for True Love and the contortionists you meet along the way! It's a high-energy, irreverent and sometimes painfully true celebration of the crazy things we do for love! The Bitter Poet is written and performed by New York City actor/writer Kevin Draine.   Recommended for adult audiences.

      This wasn't your typical play. In fact, it wasn't really a play at all. It was a one man show about a guy who has some stories to tell. In part conversation and in part song it is the tale of one self... Expand

      This wasn't your typical play. In fact, it wasn't really a play at all. It was a one man show about a guy who has some stories to tell. In part conversation and in part song it is the tale of one self professed "Bitter Poet's" journey through the complicated waters of love. At turns sad and at turns funny it will keep you entertained. If you are open to a non-traditional play experience (which you probably are if you're going to Fringe Fest in the first place) this is worth checking out. Just be prepared to listen to a guy and his guitar talk about sex and who may call you a stripper or sit his leather clad self down on your lap but it's all done in good humor. Collapse

At turns sad and at turns funny it will keep you entertained.
