The Moth, a weekly open-mic story telling show hosted in cities around the country, has recently gotten its own radio program on NPR. ColdTowne Theater is bringing the Moth to Austin with the first locally produced MothUp, a free evening of story telling open to the public. The only rules for the stories are that participants can’t use any notes. The theme for this first MothUp event is the “holidays.” Participants should show up at 8:30 to sign up. This event is free and open to the public.
