The Hideout is thrilled to announce that we're bringing Keith Johnstone to Austin in January for a series of workshops. Keith is the author of Impro: Improvisation and the Theatre, one of the founders of modern improvisation and a world-renowned teacher and improv guru. He's the inspiration for the kind of improv we do at the Hideout, and we cannot emphasize enough how unmissable a chance to work with him is.

    The Four-Day Weekend Workshop
Friday, January 15 through Monday, January 18 students will work from 9am-3pm with Keith (including an hour lunch break) and then from 3pm-5pm with one of Austin's top teachers putting the work into practice.

    Weeknight Workshops
Tuesday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 20 students will have the opportunity to spend an evening with Keith from 5pm-10:30pm (with a thirty-minute dinner break around 8pm). If you're interested in doing both Tuesday and Wednesday, we're encouraging Keith to cover different material on the two nights.

The workshops are available online at the Hideout website, Or you can call 512-300-8891 to register over the phone.
