The Kids Are All Right is a singularly unique look at a family, told from four very separate viewpoints. For the four Welch children (Amanda, Liz, Dan and Diana), the death of their father in a car accident was completely tragic. The ensuing debt that followed only added to the horrible news that their mother had severe uterine cancer. When their mother succumbed to her horrible disease, the consequences for the kids were devastating. As each of the Welch siblings tells their own story, we are able to immerse ourselves in this loving family, putting ourselves into the mix and reliving their lives with them. A BookPeople staff favorite, we highly recommend this event.
