In celebration of the opening of The Blanton's next WorkSpace, Eclipses for Austin, artist Pablo Vargas Lugo discusses his project with Roberto Tejada, associate professor in UT's Art and Art History Department. WorkSpace: Eclipses for Austin by Pablo Vargas Lugo is a special installation exploring solar eclipses as important collective rituals. It opens Saturday, November 14 and runs through February 21, 2010. The artist will be available to answer questions from 1 to 2:45PM in the WorkSpace Gallery.
