Rachel Feinstein grew up in Washington D.C. as the daughter of a civil rights lawyer and a blues musician who goes by "Hurricane Howie." Rachel opened for him as a kid, doing impersonations of various loud, jarring relatives.

At the tender age of 19, Rachel moved to New York to play such lucrative gigs as opening for a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band and performing at a laundry mat, where she ran into an old elementary school teacher who seemed frightened.

Rachel managed to live through those years without taking her own life and is now doing things that cause her less shame. She's appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and was also featured in their Fresh Faces of Funny campaign. Rachel performed in the Montreal Comedy Festival and can be heard regularly on Sirius Satellite Radio. She made her debut as a reenactress on Court TV's Parko PI, playing an enraged socialite who catches her husband cheating with her bikini-clad best friend, and then attacks her. They don't queer off but it's still hot somehow. Rachel has also been seen on VH1 and in the film Turbo Charge, a soon to be released mockumentary about The Cars.

Rachel was also featured in the Amsterdam Comedy Festival in 2005. She is a regular at Caroline's, Stand Up New York and Gotham Comedy clubs. You can see her there or at various nightclubs and universities around the U.S.

Rachel has written for Heeb Magazine and The Onion and is currently playing many different loud, heinous characters for Samurai Love God - a cartoon that you can download to your cellphone via Comedy Central's website. It's about dating, drinking and cockblocking.
