Detecting Poe: Mysteries in his Life and Works Poe was the inventor of the modern detective story. Participants in this tour will solve clues to discover the elements of a detective story as well as some of the mysteries that remain about Edgar Allan Poe. Excerpts from “The Murders in the Rue Morgue” and “The Purloined Letter” will be presented.
