Al Di Meola is known throughout the world as one of the most prominent virtuosos in the contemporary instrumental jazz field. His illustrious career can be traced back to a debut in Return to Forever with Chick Corea and continue with the formation of a “Super Guitar Trio” with Paco De Lucia and John McLaughlin, as well as The Rite of Strings with Jean Luc Ponty and Stanley Clarke. As a solo artist, he has gone on to record 15 albums, earn more than 6 million in sales and earn three gold albums. Al Di Meola continues to make startling achievements in music pioneering with deepening grace and lyricism.

I went to his show at Austin's One World Theatre on 02/12/10. This has to be the best concert I have ever been to barnone... the whole groups chemistry was outstanding and you could tell they were... Expand
