    Exceptional exhibits for all kids! The Austin Children's Museum exhibits are designed to educate and entertain the curious minds of children and their grown-ups. With over 12,500 square feet of gallery and program space, there is plenty of room to learn, explore and play.


    Notion of Motion
    Discover what makes the world go round by experimenting with different kinds of motion.
    Ready, Set, Roll
    Golf balls have never had so much fun with gravity, friction and energy!

    En mi familia/In My Family
    An interactive exhibit inspired by nationally acclaimed artist Carmen Lomas Garza.
    Funstruction Zone
    Build from the ground up in this three-level exhibit.
    Global City
    Explore how people work, live and play together in a global city.
    Rising Star Ranch
    Area especially for children under 2 and their grown-ups.
    Tinkerer's Workshop
    Building creative problem solving skills through the engineering design process.

        Children 2 yrs.and up: $6.50
        Children 12-23 months: $4.50
        Children under 12 months: FREE

        *All children must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.

        Baby Bloomer Mondays - 9am-Noon (children under 3yrs only)
        Tuesday - Saturday: 10am-5pm
        Community Night Wednesdays - 5-8pm
        Sunday - Noon-5pm (4-5pm free admission)

        The Museum is closed on the following holidays:


        New Year's Day Easter Sunday
        Memorial Day Independence Day
        Labor Day Thanksgiving Day
        Christmas Day
