Austin Chamber Music Center will present their Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Concert at the Mexic-Arte museum in downtown Austin. This free event features the Santiago-Salomon duo, a fiery chamber ensemble that seamlessly blends classical music with the traditional music of Mexico and Latin America. The duo-violinist Ana Patricia Santiago and pianist Carlos R. Salomon-will perform a program that combines original works by Salomon with traditional repertoire by other noted Hispanic composers.
The result is a fresh and colorful new sound that preserves the passion inherent in indigenous Mexican and Latin American music.
