Xavier Salomon, Chief Curator at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, London, will discuss how art historians from the 1830s to the present day have worked on worked on various reconstructions of the Petrobelli Altarpiece, and how the Blanton's painting, Head of An Angel, was discovered to the be the central figure of the Altarpiece
