Scholars Enrique Alegria-Rodriguez, Amber O'Connor and Claudia Alarcón will discuss regional diversity in Mesoamerica and the early societies that produced the Day of the Dead rituals we have come to know and enjoy in the present. Come see images of Day of the Dead from Ms. Alarcón's research and a special food tasting of Day of the Dead related foods.
